Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Coordinator to lead and support our production team in achieving maximum utilisation of resources and equipment. As a Shift Coordinator, you will be responsible for deputising for the Operations Manager as required and ensuring the team operates within the company's quality, safety, and environmental frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support the production team to achieve efficient production of high-quality products.
- Deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
- Ensure the team operates within the company's quality, safety, and environmental frameworks.
- Manage budgets and assist in capital expenditure projects.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement and encourage team members to submit near miss reports.
- Carry out root cause analysis of production issues and implement improvements.
- Ensure all team members understand and work to required quality standards.
- Participate in taste panels and ensure the site is compliant with customer and accreditation assessments.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with others and build strong relationships.
- Deliver results through others and problem-solve effectively.
- IT literacy, including SAP skills.
- Management and leadership skills.
- Communication skills.
- I.O.S.H.H.
- Food Safety Level 3.
