Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Learning Disability Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist assessment and therapy to adults with learning disabilities, as well as advice and consultation to colleagues and carers.
Key Responsibilities- Implement a range of therapy or psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups based on formulations and drawing on different explanatory psychological models.
- Provide specialist psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to colleagues in the team, carers from the public/private and voluntary sector, and families.
- Be a core member of the Specialist Learning Disability Service multi-disciplinary Clinical Team.
We are looking for a Doctoral level qualified Clinical Psychologist with experience of specialist assessment and therapy with service users across a range of care settings. You will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have a strong understanding of the principles of evidence-based practice.
Desirable qualifications include additional postgraduate training or qualification in specific psychological therapy, such as positive behaviour support, psychotherapy, or systemic therapy. You will also have experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
