Role Summary: Mechanical Components Engineer

At Morson Talent, we are seeking an experienced Assembly Engineer to work on prestigious Defence projects in Stevenage or Bolton. The ideal candidate will have expertise in components and parts, as well as excellent administration skills.

About the Project:
This project involves working with clients based in Stevenage or Bolton, UK. You will be responsible for processing and responding to support queries, as well as working within departmental processes completing administration tasks. You will also provide support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Material commodities and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and respond to support queries
  • Process component data based on Life cycle status, Export Control and REACH/RoHS compliance
  • Work within departmental processes completing administration tasks
  • Provide support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Material commodities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities

Requirements:
You will need a strong knowledge and experience of components and parts, as well as an Engineering Degree or relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office tools, Outlook, Excel, and Word is also essential. You should be able to deal with multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently and possess strong communication skills to facilitate communications with key stakeholders.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as hybrid working arrangements onsite 1-2 days per week. A phone screen and video interview will be required prior to offering.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 per annum.
