Sourcing Specialist

Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a significant impact on our supply chain strategy as we invest in new premises and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage our supply base and deliver the supply chain strategy
  • Work closely with other departments within the company to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Buyer or Procurement role in the food industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Analytical, organisational, and reporting skills
  • Ideally CIPS qualification or ambition to study towards it
  • Good understanding of contract law and procurement processes
