About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Butchery Labourer to join our team at Cranswick Country Foods PLC in Preston. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general labour duties, including the safe operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Report any equipment defects or safety concerns to the Line Leader.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the achievement of quality, health, safety, and environmental targets.
  • Uphold good housekeeping and hygiene practices to ensure product safety.

Requirements and Specifications:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and working in cold environments.
  • Awareness of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
