We are recruiting freelance Kurdish interpreters to work on various assignments in and around Bishop Auckland. As a skilled interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services to individuals using legal, health, and local government services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret between English and Kurdish languages with 100% accuracy
- Check non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence
- Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Deal with highly confidential information
- Liaise between service users and providers
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Kurdish languages
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or equivalent
