We are seeking a highly skilled Technical and Design Lead to join our Space4 Team at Persimmon Homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and converting Architects and Engineers information into timber frame fabrication and assembly drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and converting Architects and Engineers information into timber frame fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Generating fabrication drawings for off-line 'job-shop' / spandrel panels, floor cassette drawings, joist layouts, cutting lists, and other details necessary for non-standard components.
  • Assisting the Project Engineer with controlling the Space4 internal design process, including reviewing site-specific architectural information, identifying new/variant and repeating house types, and allocating an appropriate product code.
  • Working alongside the Commercial and Operations team to achieve client requirements.
  • Providing technical support for manufacturing, construction, and end-use customer technical support as required.
Requirements
  • Experience of using AutoCAD/Revit and a good understanding of working technical drawings.
  • High level of Excel and Word experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate telephone courtesy and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility and organization to cope with multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
