Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Service Admin department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing qualitative data and insightful commentary on the operational performance of the business.

Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis: Prepare, review, and issue routine daily/weekly/monthly reports with commentary to the leadership team. Reports will include engineer revenue, productivity, travel, stock usage, compliance assessments.
  2. Reconciliation: Reconcile the engineer revenue to the revenue as declared in the monthly accounts produced within Sage 200.
  3. Timesheet Audit: Produce weekly timesheet audits, including review of high overtime.
  4. Payroll Linkage: Provide a link between service management and payroll to accurately sign off commissions/overtime/expenses.
  5. Incentive Scheme Verification: Monthly verification of incentive scheme details.
  6. Anomaly Reporting: Production of complete suites of anomaly reports identifying wastage and all significant sub-optimised business outcomes (penalties, credits, underspends, missing revenue...).
  7. Sub-Contract Labour Profitability Analysis: Profitability analysis of sub-con labour usage – linking of cost to revenue.
  8. KPI Data Optimisation: Ensure that best use is being made of KPI data and company delivery performance against customer SLAs.
Requirements
  • A proactive approach, excellent inter-personal skills, and first-class presentational skills.
  • Discreet and respectful of confidentiality.
  • Highly numerate/analytical.
  • Flexible approach, able to pick up new work and one-off projects as they arise.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Detailed understanding of the use of operational and financial databases.
  • Advanced Office 365 skills – specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of complex data.
  • ODBC / SQL skills – desired but not pre-requisite.
  • Knowledge of management accounts desirable but not essential.
  • SAGE 200 / CASH for Windows knowledge would be of advantage. Training in these applications will be provided.
