About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Team Lead. As a key member of our Thurrock Integrated Community Team, you will be responsible for leading the clinical oversight of occupational therapy services, managing and supervising the occupational therapy team, and providing specialist assessments and interventions to service users.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the clinical oversight of occupational therapy services, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to evidence-based practice
  • Manage and supervise the occupational therapy team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Provide specialist assessments and interventions to service users, taking into account their physical, cognitive, and psychological abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Develop and implement service development projects to improve the therapy service, setting targets and monitoring outcomes
  • Ensure effective risk management, adhering to Trust protocols and procedures, and maintaining accurate records
