Project Lead The Way Educator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Project Lead The Way (PLTW) teacher to join our team at Danbury Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom instruction for PLTW courses, with a focus on delivering innovative and creative student experiences that foster a passion for STEM education and project-based learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to ensure academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Requirements:
- Preferred or eligible for Connecticut certification in Tech Ed (047), Mathematics (029) (229), Science (034) (030) (032) (234) (232)
- Preferred qualifications include bilingual Spanish or Portuguese speaking and technologically proficient
