Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Year 4 teacher to join our vibrant three-form entry school. As a dedicated member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to our Year 4 students, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Learning
    • Deliver high-quality lessons to Year 4 students, promoting academic excellence and fostering a love of learning.
    • Plan and implement a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring
    • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure students meet their targets.
  • Classroom Environment and Management
    • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
    • Develop and maintain effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience of our students.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience teaching Year 4.
  • Proven track record of raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
