The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and specialized therapy service tailored for children with hearing challenges. This includes:
- Managing a personal caseload while demonstrating advanced clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment, and management of communication disorders.
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of children, adjusting care plans as necessary using appropriate assessment tools.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and their families to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Reflecting on clinical practices to identify strengths and areas for improvement, providing evidence of expert clinical judgment.
- Facilitating communication environments in schools and homes to enhance children's language and interaction skills.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualifications.
- HCPC registration and membership in relevant professional organizations.
- A minimum of Level 2 British Sign Language proficiency or a willingness to achieve this level.
