Job Opportunity for a Certified Aircraft Engineer


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Aircraft Engineer to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft fleet.

  • 40 hours a week
  • On-site in a state-of-the-art facility
  • Circa £38/ph inside IR35
  • Initial contract until further notice
  • 8:00am-16:30pm Monday to Friday


Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Aircraft Engineer, your main responsibility will be to certify line, non-routine maintenance and repair on a variety of aircraft. Other responsibilities include:

  • Completing maintenance on airframe structures and mechanical & electrical systems
  • Replacing avionic line units and testing their serviceability
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the Aircraft Hangar


Requirements

  • A CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence
  • 3 years+ experience in a certifying role
  • Knowledge of Engine and Airframe systems
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of CAA regulations
  • Experience with SAP and ERP Software is desirable
