We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team at our Church Stretton facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and testing analytical and preparative liquid chromatography columns, ensuring high-quality products are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture and test columns, adjusting conditions as necessary to meet production metrics and schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory area, including waste removal.
- Perform basic maintenance and calibrations of manufacturing-owned hardware.
- Record accurate data and provide feedback to the supervisor or engineering team.
- Support team projects to improve site performance and customer service.
- Participate in a positive and open reporting culture, adhering to EH&S and Quality guidelines.
- Ability to accurately follow work instructions and record work information.
- Effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Teamwork skills, including sharing ideas and assisting colleagues.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new methods.
- Driven to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
