Job Description:

Job Title: Site Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineering Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the engineering function and ensuring the smooth operation of our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering function and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maximize equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the engineering planning process and ensure high levels of compliance.
  • Contribute to the identification and delivery of improvement projects.
  • Manage the engineering budget and identify opportunities to create value.
  • Manage inventory levels through the engineering team.
  • Develop and execute a plan to protect the site from equipment obsolescence.
  • Manage the site capital programme.

Requirements:

  • Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications or time-served apprenticeship.
  • Experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality standards, housekeeping standards, etc.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Experience of leading and delivering change.
  • Experience of budget control.
  • Experience of managing a capital programme.
  • Experience of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and stock control systems.
