Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Field Service Engineer to join our team at nGenium. As a key member of our medical engineering recruitment team, you will be responsible for handling on-site maintenance, repairs, and asset management of medical devices at various hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on medical equipment as per manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Meet Contractual KPIs: Assist in meeting contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Manage Administrative Tasks: Oversee administrative tasks related to maintenance and repairs, including documentation and inventory management.
  • Travel to Various Sites: Travel to various hospital sites for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure adherence to safety protocols within the hospital to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain Service Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date service documentation and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with OEM Service Personnel: Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service personnel when required to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Essential Qualifications: Certified OEM training, degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Biomedical Technology.
  • Key Skills: Strong customer relationship management, excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, high integrity.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the UK on medical equipment maintenance in the UK, knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Full UK Driving License: A full UK driving license is required for this role.
