Overview

H&M Distribution Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Van Driver to join our growing team at our St Neots depot. We are a leading provider of distribution services across the UK, offering full-time permanent positions with competitive pay rates, bonuses, incentives, and overtime opportunities.

This role presents an excellent chance for individuals interested in progressing to Class 1 or Class 2 licenses. The company fully supports and covers the costs associated with obtaining these licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and customer site regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and fuel-efficient driving style at all times.
  • Strictly comply with all transport legislation, including driver's hours and vehicle defect reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Transport Management Team.
  • Maintain a clean company vehicle and adhere to uniform and PPE guidelines.

Requirements

  • A valid and current driving license.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience driving on UK roads.
  • Understanding of driver's hours regulations and tachograph requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
