Job Title: Hourly Paid Learning Mentor

As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing cross-college support to teaching staff and students with diverse additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in preparing and submitting their work, including written communication and IT-based tasks within the boundaries set by examining bodies.
  • Work collaboratively with students to develop their skills and confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized learning plans and strategies to meet the needs of students with additional support requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an educational or training setting with students/young people (14+) who have support needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a minimum level 2 standard of general education, particularly in English and Maths.
