Gateway Teachers is seeking a skilled Science Teacher for a well-established secondary school in North Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join our team and inspire students' potential in the field of science. As a passionate educator with strong science curriculum knowledge, you will plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to the national curriculum requirements. Your expertise in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics will enable you to teach across these subjects and potentially specialize in one area.

Your key responsibilities will include assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress, providing constructive feedback to students. You will also contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and strategies will be an essential part of this role. To ensure up-to-date knowledge of educational developments and best practices in science education, you will need to maintain your skills through continuous professional development.

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, a degree in a relevant science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and previous experience teaching science at Key Stages 3 and 4. A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching science are essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary package of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
