Mechanical Maintenance Professional

Company Overview:

We are a global manufacturing company with significant investment plans to modernise our facility in Tamworth. Our team is expanding, and we're seeking a skilled engineer to support this growth.

Salary:

£42,600 per annum, plus double days (Mon – Fri) with an early finish on Fridays.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing reactive and planned maintenance tasks across various machinery, including filling machines, mixing machines, picking robots, and compressor systems. Your day-to-day duties will involve repairing and maintaining plant-based machinery, with full in-house training provided for bespoke equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We're looking for a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias, ideally 70:30 mechanical. A recognised level 3 maintenance-related qualification is desirable, but prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment is also valuable. Engineers from all industrial backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
