Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker - SEMH and SEND Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEMH and SEND specialist, you will work closely with children who require additional support to access mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH and SEND needs in a Primary School setting
- Work closely with teachers to contribute to EHCPs and individual needs
- Plan and deliver interventions alongside teachers
- Manage pupil behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- De-escalate situations and report safeguarding concerns
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEMH and SEND needs, a valid enhanced DBS check, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
