Role Overview:

An Occupational Therapist is sought by Aspris Children's Services Limited to provide essential support to students at Quay View School in Devonshire, who require care due to SEMH and/or Autism.

  • About the Position:
  • This part-time role involves collaborating closely with Speech and Language Therapists, school counsellors, and other professionals to deliver therapy programs for students aged 7-19.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience within this field or a related setting, as well as excellent written and spoken communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a staff team.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for developing individual student plans, delivering therapy programs, providing training and advice to the education team, and working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to create effective activity plans.

Compensation and Benefits:

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements:
  • BSc Occupational Therapy or profession-specific equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and any other relevant governing bodies
