HGV Technician Role Overview:

Our client is a leading haulage operator seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their maintenance team. This full-time position involves inspecting, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles to identify needed repairs or maintenance.
  • Perform routine services and repairs on commercial trucks.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
  • Document maintenance activities to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Promote safe working practices and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • HGV Technician apprenticeship completion.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Class 1 license beneficial but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits: Estimated annual salary of £49,205, with potential earnings up to £60,000, including overtime pay. Overtime rates: £28.83/hour (Monday-Saturday) and £38.44/hour (Sundays and bank holidays).
