Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise on operational legal issues and provide guidance on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including customer and supplier agreements.
  3. Assist with mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and financing transactions.
  4. Provide advice and support on property and development transactions, as well as general property matters.
  5. Advise on dispute resolution, debt recovery, and data protection legislation.
  6. Assist with the development and management of standard templates and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.

  9. Support the legal team in building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements:

  1. Must be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 4 years post-qualification experience working in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
  2. Significant experience in at least two of the following areas: Commercial Contracts, Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Property, Development, Regulatory, and Data Protection.
  3. Demonstrate breadth of legal knowledge and experience.
  4. Ability to identify and mitigate legal risk.
  5. Ability to be agile and adapt to changing circumstances.
  6. Excellent legal business partnering skills and ability to develop strong relationships.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  9. Strong organisational skills and ability to work to set timescales.
  10. Strong relationship and team building skills.
