Community Coach

This role is central to the coaching and delivery of our adult membership, learn-to-row courses, private coaching, corporate rowing, and volunteering programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our adult community groups participate in safe, inclusive, and enjoyable sessions throughout the year.
The role involves a mix of training program development, product development, communications, and stakeholder management, as well as coaching on-water and on-land training. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for opening access to rowing and a clear commitment to helping our rowers enjoy the sport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver coaching programs for adult community groups
- Manage and coordinate rowing programs, including learn-to-row courses and private coaching
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including rowers, volunteers, and sponsors
- Contribute to the development of training programs and products
- Coach on-water and on-land training sessions
Requirements:
- Three years' experience in coaching at a rowing club or school
