About Our Team: As a leading student accommodation firm in Plymouth, we are looking for an experienced Xero Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of finance management.

Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to supplier queries with confidence, resolving any issues promptly.
  2. Perform weekly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  3. Verify payroll data for submission to our external payroll company, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Conduct regular audits, monitoring direct debits, standing orders, and general expenditure.
  5. Generate insightful reports and analysis of company accounts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Monitor and reconcile utility accounts for company sites, optimizing costs and reducing waste.

Requirements:
  • Expertise with Xero: Proven experience in using Xero accounting software, with a deep understanding of its features and functionality.
