Assistant Store Manager

A retailer based close to Witney is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join their team. DB Charles Recruitment is working closely with the client to find the ideal candidate for this role.
The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Store Manager and work alongside 2-3 sales assistants. Key responsibilities include:
- Aiding the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting with shopfloor and selling duties
- Supporting the management and guidance of the team
- Maintaining high store visual standards
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers
- Maximising sales opportunities
- Demonstrating excellent product knowledge
- Assisting with operational duties and stock taking
The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader. They should also possess excellent customer service skills, be able to learn and retain product knowledge, and have strong operational skills. The client can offer a salary dependent on experience between £27,000 to £30,000 per annum, with additional benefits and incentives.
Store opening hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm, and the client is looking for someone who can commit to working Saturdays and 5 out of 7 days. If you are a motivated and experienced retail professional looking for a new challenge, please apply.
