Job Title: Lead Data Analyst

At IQVIA, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our team in Leeds, UK. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for leading, supervising, and supporting a team of data analysts in delivering high-quality data insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day work of the data analyst team, ensuring timely delivery of projects and high-quality results.
  • Maintain and improve the team's understanding of major areas of analysis and statistics, including database management, data visualization, and business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with the IT Operations Manager to improve team processes, implement new technologies, and enhance database usage.
  • Develop and maintain key reporting streams used internally and externally, ensuring clinical soundness and data quality.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring compliance with information governance guidelines.
  • Provide training and support to managers and clinicians in the use of information systems and business intelligence tools.
  • Project manage and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • Good experience with relational database systems (preferably MySQL).
  • Good experience with interactive dashboard software (preferably Tableau).
  • Good experience with spreadsheet software tools (such as Excel & VBA).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to project manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Keen to work in a team and collaborate.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience leading a team of data analysts.
  • Experience providing customer support and administration for web applications.
  • Experience with advanced database functions.
  • Knowledge or experience of the healthcare industry (preferably long-term conditions).
  • Knowledge or experience of working closely with upper management and business processes.

This is a hybrid role with the office in Leeds, UK. Please note that this role is not eligible for UK visa sponsorship.
