About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at No.1 by GuestHouse, York. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, private dining room, and Marmalade Lounge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day operations
  • Supervise a team of waiters/runners to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience
  • Ensure that our restaurant, private dining room, and Marmalade Lounge maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery
  • Monitor and control costs, inventory, and stock levels to optimize profitability

Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You should have:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality management roleExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectivelyKnowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
