About the Job

Chapman Tate Associates is seeking a highly skilled Linux Technical Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and scaling high-performance computing environments. Your expertise will be instrumental in powering our supercomputing clusters and ensuring seamless performance, reliability, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining HPC clusters for optimal performance and resource utilization. Additionally, you will craft and implement monitoring solutions to identify and address potential issues proactively. Collaboration with researchers, engineers, and developers to optimize application performance and parallel computing efficiency is also a key aspect of this role.

Security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards are essential. Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting, as well as strong networking skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management, are required. Familiarity with monitoring and performance tuning tools is beneficial.
