About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Vistry Group PLC, a leading housing developer in the UK. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing commercial cost insight to our business, working closely with our teams to deliver cost savings and drive the standardisation of commercial estimating processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide up-to-date cost information to our Group Commercial team through benchmarking and analysis
  • Attend development meetings, contract pre-start meetings, and subcontract package review meetings
  • Carry out pre-order meetings, including Health & Safety requirements, and finalise tender sums
  • Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorisation
  • Internal BOQ production for all elements of Vistry Works production
  • Place subcontractor orders, including interviews and reference checks
  • Issue variation orders and development changes, providing cost advice on major variations
  • Agree final accounts with subcontractors, ensuring works are completed within budget
  • Promote the expansion and maintenance of good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
