**Job Description**
AESC UK seeks a qualified Mechanical Engineer - Plant Maintenance to join their team in the Northeast of England. This role involves ensuring efficient and safe maintenance of industrial plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage primary building services including compressed air, chilled water, and DI water plant, gas-fired steam boiler, LTHW plant, clean/dry room dehumidification, and general HVAC plant.
- Coordinate with external contractors for upkeep and management of utilities including water, natural gas, and site drainage.
- Develop and implement lifecycle preventative maintenance strategies and schedules for day-to-day upkeep and management of site services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and approved codes of practice through development and implementation of safe working procedures.
- Prepare and control annual budgets for Capex and Opex expenses.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Site / Building Services.
- Demonstrable experience in a relevant site services or mechanical engineering role.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum.
This role requires a skilled individual with strong technical knowledge and ability to lead from the front. The successful applicant will be an effective communicator with a flexible mindset, capable of working as part of a team.
