VVB Engineering (UK) Limited is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to support the HS2 Old Oak Common project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing digital deliverables, ensuring all outputs meet project requirements and are produced to a high standard.

• Develop engineering designs using best practice details and bespoke solutions
• Contribute to the CAD best practice library
• Provide BIM Level 2 support from creation of documentation to validation and As Built Close Out
• Manage 3D CAD models, contributing to your specialized discipline and supporting other engineering disciplines as required
• Assist in the delivery and management of projects from technical design to construction stage to ensure compliance and delivery to project standards

• CAD Technician with at least 3 years of experience in major infrastructure/transportation projects
• Experience of working in an engineering production environment
• Railway, transportation, or construction background
• Experience of delivering projects to UK BIM Standards, including BS1192 and ISO 19650
• Proficient in using Bentley software, including ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer, and MicroStation
