Regional Recruitment Services is seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join their scaffolding outfit on a temporary/permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Scaffold Builder and possess strong knowledge of different types of scaffolding systems.
Key Responsibilities
- To build and assemble scaffolding structures according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring safety and functionality at all times.
- Inspect and maintain scaffolding equipment, reporting any issues or defects for prompt attention.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding systems in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and delays.
- Collaborate with the Scaffolding Manager to determine the most suitable type and height of scaffolding required for each project.
- Ensure that scaffolding is properly secured and stable, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
- Foster a culture of safety within the team, promoting awareness and adherence to safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Scaffold Builder, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of various scaffolding systems and their applications, including their strengths and limitations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and diagrams.
- A strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols, particularly when working at heights.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in varied weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
