Qualified Lift Technicians Wanted for Global Leader

Stannah, a global leader in the lift industry, is seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a passion for lift engineering, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety.
As a Lift Engineer at Stannah, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our extensive range of lifts and elevators. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, while also providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating moving parts, checking safety devices, and inspecting electrical systems.
- Responding to emergency calls and repairing faulty equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Conducting thorough inspections of lifts and elevators to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of our equipment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid qualification in lift engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering).
- Proven experience in lift maintenance, preferably with a well-established company like Stannah.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
