Expleo Group UK Jobs: Test Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to join our Connected Car & Navigation team, working on an ongoing contract basis. Based in the Milton Keynes / Bedford area, you will be part of a dedicated team of development technicians and engineers.

This is a unique opportunity to work on the test and development of future vehicles, involving the preparation, building, and maintenance of vehicles or components for test, instrumentation setup, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of vehicles or components for test
  • Instrumentation setup and testing in static and dynamic conditions
  • Data analysis and evaluation of test results
  • Fault finding and identification of concerns
  • Proficient use of vehicle diagnostic tools

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds / IMI / NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
  • Automotive electrical and electronic test experience, particularly in HMI, navigation, and infotainment
  • Equivalent experience in a major testing program, such as aerospace or telecoms
  • Vehicle system knowledge and fault finding skills
  • Understanding of component measurement techniques
  • Test and diagnostic experience
  • Data analysis and report writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
