Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer - Wastewater Design

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the water sector. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering leading-edge design solutions for wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the oversight and evaluation of all project delivery aspects, ensuring design performance is optimized.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, coordinating a full programme of works to meet project goals.
  • Be instrumental in the delivery of detailed design for projects predominantly to reduce spills from Combined Sewer Overflows & offer storage solutions to support AMP 8 commitments.
  • Build strong partnerships with key contacts across Severn Trent and third-party asset owners, ensuring smooth project progression.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the delivery team, ensuring project milestones are met.

Requirements:

  • UK accredited degree certificate in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the water sector.
  • Proven track record delivering community focussed projects/solutions ensuring carbon reduction and sustainability.
  • Proficient in coaching junior engineers with great communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
