Electrical Project Manager Job Description

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage all electrical aspects of major car park development projects.
  2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  5. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to deliver high-quality results.
  8. Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  4. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Proficiency in project management software, with the ability to use tools such as MS Project or Asana to manage projects and track progress.
