About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Yard Assistant to join our team at MKM Building Supplies.

As a key member of our external team, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with their queries and provide excellent customer service
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operations
  • Pick and check orders, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Store stock safely and maintain a tidy, safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Desirable: Counterbalance Forklift License and building industry knowledge
