About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our team at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin, North East Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, proactive, and person-centred care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Develop and lead models of care that serve our population, working closely with clinicians and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of a Consultant-led Emergency Care service, working collaboratively with existing Consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in portfolio working across University or cross-site posts, with opportunities to work in Pre-hospital and Retrieval Medicine as part of the Emergency Medical Retrieval Service (EMRS).
About the Team

Our team of 35 Consultants works across the acute sector, providing a Consultant-led service with a small-hospital atmosphere of friendly co-operation. We have a good rapport with local General Practitioners and are committed to providing high-quality care to our patients.
