Maintenance Engineer

Location: Uddingston

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 + Day Shift Pattern, 8 Hours (6am-3pm, Monday to Friday) + Paid Optional Overtime + No Call Out + Training Opportunities + Qualifications + Pension + Benefits

  1. Maintenance of equipment and machinery across the site
  2. Reporting to the Engineering Manager about projects, problems, and health and safety issues
The right candidate will have:
  1. Previous hands-on Maintenance Engineering experience
  2. Engineering qualifications
  3. Experience in Production, Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Distribution
  4. Ex Forces (REME, Navy, RAF, Marines) background is encouraged to apply

The Role:
  1. Carry out maintenance tasks across the site
  2. Preventative, Reactive, and Project Improvement work
  3. Logging non-conformances, faults, and errors
  4. Reporting to the Engineering Manager for work
The Person:
  1. Maintenance Engineer
  2. Mechanically and/or Electrically qualified
  3. Knowledge of 3 phase motors is advantageous but not essential
  4. Backgrounds considered: Manufacturing, Production, Industrial, Facilities, Plant, Field Service, or similar
  5. Ex forces candidates (REME, Aircraft, Navy, Marine, RAF) encouraged to apply and will receive training
