Job Summary:

Staff Selection UK is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our client's team as a General Labourer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contribute to the success of a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods as required
  • Moving pallets and loading machines with various sized products
  • Labeling pallets and boxes
  • Inspecting end products before packing
  • Performing other general duties, including helping to maintain a clean and organized workspace

Working Environment:

You will be working in a large team environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and ensuring that all clients receive their bulk orders on time. The working week will be Monday to Friday, with a rotating shift pattern.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1: 6am - 3:45pm

Week 2: 3:45pm - 1:30am

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role will start at £12 per hour, with overtime paid at £15.96 per hour after 39 hours. You will also have the opportunity to receive bonus and pay increases, as well as training and qualifications to help you develop your skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a workshop or fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to manually lift products repetitively
  • Experience working with machinery is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to travel to and from site outside of public transport due to the start and finish times
