Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation and Handling: Carefully pack, transport, and install fine art pieces and high-value furniture, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage the movement of artworks and furniture, including pick-ups, deliveries, and installations, both locally and across Europe.
  • Vehicle Operations: Drive a Class 1 HGV, ensuring safe and reliable transport, and maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and assess artworks for proper handling and packing, and ensure they are securely wrapped and loaded for transit.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage paperwork, including bills of lading, labels, timesheets, and condition reports with photos, and communicate effectively with clients and the operations team.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A clean driving record, physical fitness, and a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Experience: A Class 1 HGV license with digital tacho and CPC, and some experience or knowledge of handling high-end goods (advantageous).
  • Personal Qualities: A team-oriented attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to travel around Europe and spend nights away for longer trips.
