Delivery Driver Job DescriptionJob Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a full Class 2 License and have a strong understanding of the local Aberdeen area
  • Deliver goods to different addresses and routes in a timely manner
  • Prepare, inspect, and secure the assigned delivery vehicle
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and client satisfaction
  • Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all transport laws
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
  • Ensure a safe work environment and perform risk assessments as needed
Requirements
  • Class 2 UK Driving License
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the local Aberdeen area
  • Awareness of transportation requirements for hazardous goods (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers
  • Good time management skills
  • Manual Handling Awareness and ability to follow safe loading procedures
