About the Role:

We are working with a global food manufacturer to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer Specialist to join their team in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive breakdown, planned/preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement service.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer Specialist with excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence and the tenacity to deliver in a challenging environment.

The salary for this role is £55,000 with shift allowance, reflecting the importance of this position in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's facility.

About You:

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer Specialist with a strong background in electrical engineering, including NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds ONC qualification or equivalent.

A high level of competence in both electrical and mechanical maintenance is essential, as well as experience of PLC fault finding within an FMCG environment.

You will also have a proven ability to lead BDA process on biggest losses in an area, support and coach operators, and raise and complete Tags with and without operator involvement.

In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of £55,000 with shift allowance, as well as a range of benefits including Discretionary Bonus Scheme, Death in Service, and 11% Pension.
