About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Industrial Disease Lawyer to join their Manchester office. As a key member of the team, you will handle a mixed caseload of industrial disease claims, including litigated and pre-litigated files, and provide supervision to an assistant file handler.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a caseload of industrial disease claims, including mesothelioma cases, asbestos-related diseases, noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), and higher arm vibration syndrome (HAVS)
  • Provide supervision to an assistant file handler
  • Support the team in achieving business objectives
Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor/lawyer with previous experience handling industrial disease cases
  • Previous experience of mesothelioma, asbestos, NIHL, and HAVS is essential
  • Supervisory experience is beneficial
