Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at ProRec Limited. As a leading provider of logistics services, we offer a unique opportunity for drivers to work with a reputable and growth-oriented company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Deliver goods to customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures.
  • Off-load goods at sites, involving some manual handling in accordance with site operating instructions.
  • Drive long haul and short haul HGVs, including multi-drop deliveries.
  • Work at controlled DC sites and be flexible in driving other types of vehicles as required.
  • Comply with road transport and tachograph regulations.
  • Meet driver performance standards.
Requirements:
  • Hold an LGV Class 1 C+E License with a minimum of 6 months' experience.
  • Driver CPC.
  • Sound knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
  • Experience driving articulated vehicles (newly qualified drivers accepted subject to enhanced assessment).
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and honesty.
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rates, including £19.00 per hour for days, £20.00 per hour for nights, and £22.00 per hour for weekends.
  • Temporary to Permanent placement with a guaranteed permanent position after 12 weeks.
