Key Responsibilities- Promote high standards of quality within the nursery, encompassing the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
- Ensure that all children receive rich and stimulating experiences tailored to their age and developmental stage.
- Oversee administrative duties, including maintaining children's records, ordering equipment, and managing personnel records.
- Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations.
- Ensure the nursery remains compliant with suitably trained staff and relevant first aid qualifications.
- Agree and deliver occupancy targets.
- Recruit, induct, support, train, and appraise staff to ensure high-quality childcare practice.
- Maintain friendly and professional relationships with parents and carers.
- Flexible working arrangements, including options for 40 hours across 5 days, 40 hours across 4 days, 30 hours over 3 days, or split shifts.
