About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Year in Industry student to join our Stakeholder and Communications team as a Renewable Energy Industry Placement Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain valuable knowledge and experience in renewable energy, community engagement, and project management.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist us in representing the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone at a regional level, providing information to local communities, and collaborating with delivery partners to construct the 60km underground cable route and onshore substation infrastructure. You will also be responsible for building relationships with communities across the relevant area, strengthening a positive image of RWE and the project.

You will have the chance to work alongside world-leading experts as a core member of the team and support the planning and delivery of various community engagement events. You will also be responsible for collating, reporting, and presenting information to evidence the work and positive social value being created by the team.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Economics, Communications, Media, Marketing, Public Relationships, Sustainability. Your degree course must be eligible for a year in industry placement, and you should be looking at your current performance overview and be on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher.
