The Opportunity:

This is a unique chance to unlock the power of HR and payroll data to drive critical decisions that impact thousands of staff across our Trust. As our HR Business Intelligence Analyst, you will have the opportunity to directly influence strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and the way we support our people, making a lasting difference across multiple schools.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis with a requirement to work at least two days a week from our Central Office in Peterborough, although alternative arrangements will be considered depending on candidate and location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cutting-edge HR/payroll reports and dashboards that inform key decision-making across the Trust.
  • Turn data into actionable insights, empowering leadership to make data-driven decisions that enhance staff wellbeing, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll/Finance teams to understand key challenges and deliver tailored reporting solutions that shape the future of our workforce data.
  • Spot trends and opportunities to streamline HR/payroll processes, increasing efficiency and improving the employee experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact insights to key stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data reporting, ideally within a HR/payroll setting.
  • Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with HR/Payroll system reporting tools, such as Business Objects (iTrent), although training can be provided.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to check, reconcile and validate data prepared by self.
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility for the delivery of specified objectives whilst remaining responsive to the requirements of the business.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for making a meaningful impact through data.
Why This Role Matters:

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how we understand and manage our workforce. By providing valuable insights from HR and payroll data, you will be directly influencing strategic decisions that affect the lives of our staff and, ultimately, the quality of education we provide. This is a chance to truly make your mark in a purpose-driven, growing organisation.

What We Offer:
  • A key role in shaping the future of HR and payroll processes across a large, influential Trust.
  • A dynamic, supportive environment where innovation and new ideas are valued.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
